Inspired by Muddy Waters and other blues greats, South London blues-rock band Killing Floor was formed in 1968 with vocalist and harmonica player Bill Thorndycraft, guitarist Mike Clark, bassist Stuart MacDonald, pianist Lou Martin and drummer Bass Smith.
This is the sound of the band at the beginning of their career, a rougher traditional blues that contrasts with later work for Larry Page.
