Maloi was formed in early 2011 in Kyiv. It was formed by members of other bands, namely Woundead, Bluesbreaker, Riot On The Radio, Wolverine Blues, Undercurrents and others. From the very beginning of its existence, the band reached out to its fans and, even though it ceased its activities in 2017, will forever remain deep in our musical hearts.
Vova Protsenko, one of the band's founders and lyricist, said in an interview:
"Maloi is a band that has a direct dialogue with its listener or with the person who hears the band. Our only concept is to be sincere and as open as possible: we just talk to people about things that they might be afraid to discuss with someone else."
