The members of the short-lived Palm Desert, California, stoner/desert-rock pioneers Kyuss split in 1995, releasing only four genre-defining albums: Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri formed Queens Of The Stone Age, John Garcia formed Unida, Slo Burn, and Hermana, and Brant Bjork joined Fu Manchu. Later in 2000, the posthumous compilation Muchas Gracias: The Best Of Kyuss is a selection of 15 rare tracks, B-sides and live recordings. Available on vinyl for the first time in the US, the Run Out Groove label offers a colour edition of this compilation on two deluxe-covered vinyl LPs.
