David Gilmour's second solo album. After finishing work on the last Pink Floyd album with Roger Waters, musician started working on his second solo album. This time he decided to invite well-known and good musicians to the recordings, and the album "About Face" featured, among others Sam Brown, Roy Harpert, Steve Winwood. The intention was also to create a musically creation that would not be as pompous as the recent Floyd albums and this intention was successful.
