TakeDake means "Bamboo Only" which aptly describes John Neptune's new band. All of the instruments on this incredible album are made of bamboo. Most of them were made by Neptune himself.
John Kaizan Neptune is acknowledged worldwide as one of the most gifted composers and performers of shakuhachi music. He is a licensed master of the Tozan Ryu. In 1980, John was given the "Outstanding Album of the Year" award by Japanese Ministry of Education — the only non-Japanese ever to have received this honor.
