Music from the Blackstar single has been featured in the opening title credits and trailers for the 2015 TV series The Last Panthers.
Blu-Spec CDs use a similar manufacturing process that is used to create Blu-Ray discs. Instead of a traditional infra-red laser, a blue laser is used for recording the pits onto the CD master. The results are more precise pits and reduced distortion in playback.
