Bright Size Life — the album that marked the beginning of the career of one of the most influential guitarists of our time. Pat Metheny’s debut album, recorded in late 1975 for ECM, was a true breakthrough in jazz, introducing the world to his distinctive melodic style, spacious sound and unique lyricism. The recording was produced by Manfred Eicher, and the session took place at the legendary Tonstudio Bauer in Germany.
The Japanese edition is part of the prestigious SHM-SACD series. It utilises ECM’s 2017 DSD master, released in the Single Layer SACD format and intended exclusively for SACD players.
