Beyoncé has unveiled the tracklisting for her new album Cowboy Carter. The follow-up to "Renaissance", the album includes a cover of Dolly Parton's classic song "Jolene", as well as a performance by country legend Willie Nelson in a song called "Smoke Hour". Beyoncé shared the tracklist on her social media accounts; the vintage-style poster includes the project's unfolding title: Cowboy Carter And The Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit.
Cowboy Carter will be available on physical media on 12 April and will include the singles "16 Carriages" and "Texas Hold 'Em". With the latter hit, Beyoncé made history as the first black woman to top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Beyoncé's ninth chart topper and first since the release of "Break My Soul."
The upcoming album also includes tracks with titles such as "Spaghettii," "The Linda Martell Show," "Riiverdance," "Tyrant" and "Dolly P."
Following the announcement, Beyoncé titled her next album Act ii. She recently shared illustrations and a note about Cowboy Carter. "This is not a country album," she explained in a statement. "It's a Beyoncé album."
