DON'T BE DUMB - Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky's fourth full-length studio album closes a more than six-year hiatus since his last full-length release Testing.
From 2018 to 2024, the album has gone through many different phases. During 2018, Rocky wore emoji symbols on his clothes to hint that he was ALL $MILES at the time. After three years passed without any word on an album, Rocky revealed in a June 2021 interview with GQ that his album was ‘about 90 per cent complete’, calling it a ‘ghetto love story’. His last statement came in May 2022 in the single ‘D.M.B.,’ dedicated to his girlfriend Rihanna.
After numerous false confirmations about the completion of DON'T BE DUMB, as well as the two singles released from that album, Rocky announced its release date at a show for his fashion brand AMERICAN SABOTAGE on 21 June 2024. Shortly afterwards, he placed pre-orders for digital and physical copies on his website.
