Cepasa is a Ukrainian electronic artist, composer, and producer, whose real name is Pavlo Lenchenko. His music combines house rhythms, emotional intensity, and a carefully crafted album narrative. “Serce” is Cepasa’s sixth studio album, created in Kyiv between 2022 and 2025 and released on vinyl in collaboration with TILKITAK Records. This is the artist’s second full-length release following the album “Niby Chaiky,” which was entirely conceived and released during the full-scale war.
Work on “Heart” took place largely in a live format: most of the compositions existed on stage for a long time, changing their tempo, structure, and development before receiving a studio arrangement. Cepasa consistently treats the album as a cohesive form of expression rather than a collection of individual tracks—and it is this approach that has defined the rhythm and dramaturgy of the release. The studio versions retain the logic of live performance: the material is not adapted for radio or streaming, and the concert format is viewed as an equally valid way for music to exist. Most tracks are built at the classic house tempo of 120–122 BPM and are over five minutes long.
The vinyl edition of “Hearts” is released as a standalone release with its own tracklist and structure. The album is presented in a two-LP format and contains 16 tracks that do not duplicate the digital version. The release includes the bonus tracks “Waves” (2025 version) and a remix of “Waves” by the French duo dOP—both tracks are available exclusively on vinyl. The release is complemented by a gatefold sleeve featuring illustrations by the artist’s father, an autograph insert included in the first 99 copies, and printed inner sleeves.
The material was remastered separately with the analog format in mind, emphasizing the depth of sound and dynamics of the tracks.
The album includes the track “To Lyubov,” which topped Spotify’s “New Every Friday” editorial playlist and was released with the album cover. Alongside it are “Spotguide” and “Where Are You Now,” tracks that have already become recognizable in Cepasa’s catalog, as well as a collaborative track with NICHKA. The track “Heart” was performed live twice—on the main stage of the Vyava festival and at the “Kureny” venue.
