It was the dawn of a new millennium - especially for black metal pioneers Satyricon, who were about to undergo perhaps the most groundbreaking evolution of their career. Following the release of the landmark album Nemesis Divina (1996), Satyr and Frost went into recluse for three years, only to return in the autumn of 1999 in absolutely mind-blowing form.
