The album
was recorded in 1987, when Victor Tsoi flew to Alma-Ata to shoot the film
"Needle", the album "Group of Blood" was already recorded
at that time. The inside cover of the album states that the recordings are
rehearsal material that did not make it to the studio incarnation. The only
composition recorded in the studio is "Slush". The album was inspired
by the desire of Alakhov and Guryanov to experiment with the drum machine
brought by Joanna Stingray. Thanks to the fact that Alexey Vishnya introduced
the musicians to Zoya Kravchuk, the editor of musical-literary programs at
Radio House, they were able to record samples for the album, such as Gagarin's
voice. In addition, musical instruments were provided by Sergey Kuryokhin and
Andrey Sigle
