The new album was entirely written by Måneskin and recorded live at Mulino recording studio in Aquapendente (VT), where the band performed a mini-concert to introduce it, thus recalling the analogue mood of the 1970s bootlegs, with the intention and desire to recreate the live atmosphere the band experienced during their first, long 70-day tour of Italy and Europe. A modern album that was recorded entirely live and fully expresses the band's style and sound.
Theatre is a metaphor that contradicts the term "anger" used in the title and becomes the place where this anger takes shape. It is not anger at a target, but a creative energy that rebels against overwhelming stereotypes. A catharsis that, through art, generates rebirth and positive change.
In "Teatro D'ira - Vol. I" the Måneskin sound takes on a new meaning to better convey their message. The concept of liberation from the shackles of conformity and useless filters is at the core of the band's value system, along with the desire to be authentic. A message that, since their first single "Vent'anni", has always been addressed to Generation z, but is now addressed to the general public: It is an invitation to get rid of the preconceived labels people put on you, to live life to the fullest and always be yourself without fear of others' opinions.
