BBE Music announces the first reissue since 2006 of Roy Ayers' classic albums “Virgin Ubiquity” 1 & 2 on deluxe 180 gram vinyl with brand new cover notes written by Sean Pee.
The music on ‘Virgin Ubiquity’ was selected and mixed from previously unreleased multi-track recordings recorded between 1976 and 1981, which Roy kept in his possession. It's all unquestionably Ayers, but varied and fresh enough to be more than just an addition to one of his most prolific and popular periods - a testament to the creative abilities of him and his musicians, as much of what Ayers is most revered for is from this period.
