The "Getz/Gilberto" album is a highly influential bossa nova jazz album released in 1964. It brought together the talents of American saxophonist Stan Getz and Brazilian guitarist João Gilberto, along with the vocals of Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto (who was married to João at the time). The album was recorded in March 1963 and released by Verve Records.
