"Even before I started recording the songs for this album, I already knew that it would be called 'LUTYI'. Over the past two years, this word has acquired new meanings for us and has become a symbol of resistance. It clearly describes the inner state of every Ukrainian.
'LUTYI' is the beginning of a new history, a red line between the past and the future, a scar on the cellular tissue that takes a long time to heal and gives strength to move forward.
Despite this, the new album also contains light songs, full of hope for victory, faith in one's strength and love for life. I wanted to reflect the whole range of human feelings and emotions:
from the deep inner truth to the reaction to the incredible pressure from the outside. This disc is a conversation with myself face to face.
I would also like to draw your attention to the cover of the disc, which features a print of my face. I made it while walking with my son one winter evening. I put my head on a snow cushion and took a picture with my phone. I was amazed at what came out of it."
