Puzzle is the 3rd album by the Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro, but also a weird one for a newbie like me who hasn`t heard of this band before. Yet, the listening experience to this band, especially, Puzzle, is a nice one. It is basically a combination of melodic and cutting edge alternative rock, on which Simon Neill (lead guitar and vocals), James Johnston (bass /backing vocals), and Ben Johnston (drums/backing vocals) add some energy and vitality with each track, but also a good sense of originality and musicianship-something that is needed so bad, theses days, when most of music being released in the new millenium has turned into garbage, showing no originality, vitality and musicianship. At first listen, it may sound shocking. But, it grows on every listener, with every successive spin of this disc.
