Founded in 1967, The Old Man And The Sea quickly established themselves on the Danish concert scene. They opened for Led Zeppelin, Ten Years After and others. However, the band broke up in the spring of 1969. They reunited again to record their self-titled debut album, which was released by Sonet in 1972 in only 500 copies.
One of the best albums from Denmark, which soon became a cult and incredibly rare! Hard rock with a predominant guitar and heavy organ lead the instrumental solo sections, while the rough English vocals add a bluesy touch to the sound.
