The earliest version of L.S. Dunes - the one that introduced itself to the world at Chicago's Riot Fest in 2022 and released its blissfully chaotic debut, Past Lives, later that year - was born amidst turbulence. A pandemic had begun. There were time and family difficulties. The band members were on tour with one of many other bands: Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance, Anthony Green of Saosin and Circa Survive, Travis Stever of Coheed And Cambria, Tim Payne and Tucker Rule of Thursday, among them. But somehow they managed to succeed, touring the world to a growing and passionate fan base, and along the way they found their footing as a distinctive and unique band of their own design.
