In the summer of 2000, after the recording of ‘Striptease’, the musicians quarrelled with each other. For this reason, there were rumours that the band was breaking up. However, soon the musicians came to a compromise, and Roy agreed not to participate with the band in concerts, while remaining its director. Kuzma, Shura and session musicians recorded the album ‘Modna kraina’, which caused a mixed reaction among the band's fans - the band completely abandoned its trademark electronic sound and changed its musical style from synth-pop to pop-rock, while cynicism and sometimes mocking humour appeared in the lyrics. This sound became Scriabin's trademark of the 2000s.
