"Tango is the tenth official studio album by the Ukrainian band Skryabin, first released in 2005. The album was recorded between 14 September 2004 and 14 March 2005, and was inspired by the Orange Revolution in Ukraine. The songs included in the album seem to have come out of the twilight fog into the sunlight - and became simply honest, without any embellishments. The songs are not always pleasant, but they are no less pure, and therefore, perhaps, more valuable.
The hit "People Like Ships" is one of the saddest and, at the same time, most beautiful Ukrainian songs of the 00s. It has apt symbolism, melody and existentialism. Is it possible to think of the most banal and most apt metaphor for comparing people? This is Kuzma's paradoxical ability to be strikingly accurate, easy to understand and multileveled.
